SARA JOHNSON MEDIATOR

Sara Johnson has mediated more than 5,000 cases, served as the President of the Mediation Association of Colorado from 2015 through 2017, and was on the Board of Directors from 2011 through 2020. Contracted with the Office of Dispute Resolution from 2012-2023, as one of their few mediators authorized to mediate in Spanish, Sara has extensive experience mediating Domestic Relations as well as Civil Disputes.

Through ODR, theMAC, and the Colorado Judicial Institute, Sara has participated in and collaborated on creating multiple workshops, published material and presentations including ethics panels, best practices for mediation, trauma-informed mediation practices, domestic violence trainings and regularly attends the Colorado Family Law Institute.

Sara worked at Arapahoe County Child Support Services and in Denver JV Court from 2012 through 2018 mediating parenting and support issues.

Actively involved in Mediators Beyond Borders, Sara participated in their International Congresses in 2015 in Romania, 2017 in Holland and in 2019 in Indonesia.

After graduating from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in cultural anthropology, Sara spent twenty years living and working in Spain and South America, speaks Spanish and Portuguese and brings a broad worldview to her practice.

Stephanie is a bilingual Spanish/English attorney and mediator who has been making thoughtful recommendations for families to the Colorado courts through her work as a Child and Family Investigator for the past five years. 

After completing her mediation training in 2016, Stephanie helped prose clients mediate agreements through the Turelli Method in Arapahoe County.

As former counsel with the Justice and Mercy legal aid clinic, Stephanie has a broad range of experience, representing a diversity of clients, including victims of domestic violence. 

Before beginning her legal career, Stephanie worked with Planned Parenthood Federation International throughout Central and South America negotiating contracts and budgets for local health clinics, working with heads of state and government officials.

Stephanie Suzanne has been mediating full time with Johnson Mediation Group since 2019 and offers half day and full day mediation sessions as well as Arbitration and Med/Arb options helping clients to create the best possible resolutions.

MARIAJOSE DELGADO ATTORNEY MEDIATOR

MariaJose Delgado received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in religious studies. She later engaged in post-baccalaureate study in Rome, Italy, with a focus on interreligious dialogue.

MariaJose discovered her passion for family law in 2008 and has made conflict resolution among families the focus of her legal career ever since. She was a Beasley Scholar at Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA, and her participation in the school’s family law legal clinics and other volunteer work earned her the Rubin Public Interest Award.

She is an active member of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. She has served on Colorado’s Child Support Commission which reviews child support laws and makes recommendations to Colorado’s legislature. She has been recognized by National Advocates Top 40 Under 40 and by SuperLawyers as a Rising Star.

As a mediator, MariaJose brings to the table a solution-oriented mindset and significant experience as an attorney practicing all aspects of family law. She always has ideas.
